My wife treats me and our kids so wonderfully. She is up and awake at 5am every morning to get our 5 kids ready for school. She does not stop moving for a break until she comes home at 9am after dropping them all off. Soon after, she begins taking are of our home. She meets the kids after school, helps with homework, makes dinner, bathes them and gets them into bed. It is because of all things that she does week after week that I began looking into kitchen remodeling in Bergen County NJ so that I could try to surprise her with a kitchen makeover.
One might automatically assume that a new kitchen makeover as a gift is akin to giving someone a vacuum cleaner for a gift. Not so! My wife loves spending time in that room, and unless we are all spending time watching a TV show in the living room or she’s busy watching over bath time or putting the kids into bed, you can almost find her in that one room. She loves it, and tells me so often. At some point I realized that I owe her big time. The room is old and does not look at that great. I realized that I should do something to make it even more inviting for her, especially when it had old cabinets, out-of-date counters, and ugly flooring. I wanted something much better for her, and I knew she would love my plans.
I decided that it was best that I let her choose the colors and designs that would go into the room. I would just be the one who would pay for it. I called around to discuss my plans with some companies who do remodeling, and found one that fit our budget. They showed up to talk to my wife yesterday, and she was so happy that she cried and hugged me.
